Sirindhorn National Medical Rehabilitation Institute

The National Medical Rehabilitation Institute, under the Department of Medical Services, Ministry of Public Health, provides rehabilitation care for patients and people with disabilities who have physical problems, including musculoskeletal pain such as tendonitis, back pain, and joint pain; neurological patients such as those with hemiplegia, paralysis, limb weakness, and others; people with limb amputations, foot deformities, and developmental delays; and children with specific clinics such as shoe clinics, pediatric rehabilitation clinics, speech therapy, swallowing therapy, robotic gait training, etc. The institute also provides various physical therapy and occupational therapy equipment, including aquatic exercise and hydrotherapy. Rehabilitation is provided on an outpatient and inpatient basis by rehabilitation physicians, neurologists, rehabilitation nurses, and a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team.
