Bhra Nee Restaurant was founded in 1949 by Lt. Aphai Isaraphakdi, who transformed a small Sukhumvit shophouse into a culinary landmark. His passion for cooking created a unique fusion of Thai and International homemade cuisine.
Lt. Aphai’s Thai dishes were inspired by recipes passed down from the Sukhothai Palace, resulting in uniquely flavorful classics like veal curry and tom yum. His Western menu was influenced by travels abroad, bringing world-famous dishes to Bangkok.
